I can’t hardly believe it’s already February 14! 2014 is proving to be a surprising year so far and is moving FAST. The month of January is a blur…an amazing blur that yielded many incredible opportunities and memories.

We started off the year with a trip to New York City (in the middle of Winter Storm Hercules!) We made it safely and enjoyed great entertainment, food, and experiences. We played tourists and visited the Statue of Liberty, saw Spiderman on broadway, and paid our respects at the new World Trade Center Memorial. We made some precious memories. After a few delayed flights and an overnight in Atlanta, we made it back home.

Our next adventure was preparing for our church’s annual marriage event- Love, Laughter, and a Culinary Experience. Over 200 couples attended the event and I have to say, it may have been my favorite L&L to date. The food was amazing and the presentation beyond our expectations! Couples were encouraged and challenged to enjoy each other in the midst of the grind. The music was fun, comedy hilarious, and environment beautiful- it was a great weekend!

The day after Love & Laughter Katie and I hopped a flight to Houston, to catch our cruise ship to Mexico the following morning. I was invited to lead worship for a staff retreat aboard Carnival Cruise Lines. Wow! How cool is that? This invitation was a huge surprise and unbelievable treat. I also performed my one may show on board, open to the entire cruise to attend. BLESSED, BLESSED, BLESSED! We enjoyed the ship and our two stops in Mexico, we worked and played and it was such a neat time.

Now, it’s back to reality. Tomorrow we start back shows at Clay Cooper Theatre. To view our 2014 schedule, click here:  Our brand new show for 2014 will debut March 7. I hope you’ll come see us this year!

Katie and I have been memorizing this scripture this week: “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.” Psalm 29:2 Have I mentioned He is in charge of our lives and solely responsible for all that is good? We give Him complete glory and lift up our thankful praises to Him for all He has done.

We love you and Jesus does too!

Got something to say?
